Why undo something that's working as well for US Americans as the do-not call registry? It has been a delight to have had my phone line restored. I pay for my phone line; it is my property rather than the property of telemarketers. If you change the ruling to allow pre-recorded messages, you have gutted the registry. Instead, I urge you to strengthen the registry to include blocking of "surveys." The number of those so-called "surveys" surged after the registry went into place, clearly giving evidence to the fact that they are not surveys at all, but telemarketing calls.
