Comments:
Please do not approve of or pass the Telemarketing Sales Rule amendment. Over 60 million consumers, including myself, have signed the national no-call list in order to stop being harrassed by obnoxious telemarketers' calls, especially at dinner time. The amendment would open the flood gates again and make a mockery of a great idea--the no-call list. If this amendment is passed, it will accellerate concumers switching to cell phones in order to escape from unwaned telemarketing calls, which will weaken the potential of legitimate telemarketing calls by non-profits.
