I strongly urge you to stop the proposed rulemaking (RIN: 3084-0098) which would establish a huge new loophole for telemarketers to evade the National Do Not Call Registry. According to the proposed rule -- even if you have signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry -- a company could make prerecorded robo calls to your home if you have an "established business relationship" - meaning that you bought something from a company during the last 18 months, or inquired about their products during the last three months. I ask you to protect the peace and quiet of my home and the homes of millions of other Americans who detest commercial telemarketing calls.
