|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:short comment: NO! longer comment: The current rule is working great, as is! Please do not weaken it. Business interests DO NOT trump all other needs--let us live in peace. If businesses need to contact us in an un-solicited way they can mail us a letter. Just because I bought a widget from XYZ Corp last month (or last year) does not mean I want un-solicited phone calls from them. A change such as this is merely the first chink in the armor. If we let this change go through, as time goes by, lobbying groups will continue to chip away at it until the Do Not Call list is nothing more than a farce. Please stand firm and hold to the existing standard.
