I am appalled at the proposed action to emasculate the Do Not Call Registry by allowing prerecorded messages! We no longer are bothered at all hours of the day and evening by unwanted solicitations. Now you again want to open the flooegates and, effectively, END the usefulness of the Registry. This smacks of corporate and governmental corruption, i.e., corporate donations to influence legislation and regulations. Although I have been an ARDENT SUPPORTER of the administration, if this administration sanctioned invasion of my privacy is allowed, it will change my thinking regarding which party I support in the next congressional and presidential elections! I'm amazed at the stupidity, or perhaps arrogance, of those who would think to allow this. What in the world are you thinking!
