I am adamantly against this change to the telemarketing sales rule. This rule has works very well and has been a real success story. I can tell you unequivocally that the do not call program has improved the quality of my life by limiting the amount of unwanted interuptions my family receives at home. A change of the sort being considered would allow the use of technology much like that of spam on the internet which has had a terrible affect on the efficiency of email and led to costly countermeasures to filter it. I do not want these same problems with my phone. Thank you.
