Comments:
I oppose any further intrusions on my privacy by telemarketers, be they live or pre-recorded. The telephone is for my convenience not theirs. If I wish to speak with them, I can call them. Television ads, radio ads, and newspaper ads can be ignored simply by not turning the devices on or buying the papers. The telephone can not be ignored as easily since it may be a call from someone I actually need to hear from. The no-call list was designed to keep nuisance callers from bothering those of us who don't wish to be subjected to their annoying ads. Pre-recording an ad does not make it any more palatable.
