I am vehemently opposed to the proposed "loophole" to the Do Not Call list. I enrolled on the list because I did not want to be bothered by unwanted solicitors. Furthermore, I do not want my answering machine filled with unwanted messages. In my experience, calls from "real" people are not left on my machine but long, pre-recorded messages are left. Why should I have to "opt out" of these calls when I didn't want them in the first place and have explicitly said so?
