I am on the national do not call list for one reason. I do not want my phone ringing with unwanted solicitations. I will never buy anything from someone calling my home with something I don't want. Therefore, it doesn't matter if it's a live person or a recorded message. It's all annoying, and I will continue to be rude and hang up on anyone who calls my home looking to make a quick buck off of me and my family. Putting a loophole into a contract on purpose seems ludacris to me. Loopholes are found by greedy lawyers looking to make money. Besides, a loophole now exists. They can ask you to take part in a 'survey'. Once you do, you are now an existing customer and they can call you 24-7 with their B.S. And furthermore, any time you choose one of these 'opt out' or 'if you wish to be removed' lists, sure you are removed from that company's list. But then your name is sent to a dozen other companies who barrage you with unwanted solicitations for their useless products.
