As a private citizen, I am opposed to any ammendments to existing telemarketing "no-call" rules that provide another loophole for more annoying marketing telephone calls. Right or wrong, it is my opinion that my private telephone line is for my exclusive use at my discretion. I object to any and all unsolicited, marketing-based telephone calls, whether initiated by a person, a machine, or whatever other loophole may be invented in the future...pre-recorded messages are no exception. Although admittedly biased, I hold that any request made by the Direct Marketing Association ought to be rejected outright, the association banned, and it's founders exiled. How hard is it to understand "DO NOT CALL"? Thanks for the opportunity to express this person's opinion.
