I oppose any abandonment or loosing of the current laws or rules that prohibit telemarketing calls. I personally think these type laws or rules should be stregenthened rather than portions of the current laws abandonded. Under the current rules, I have enjoyed not having to answer constant telemarketing calls to my home. The telemarketers do not pay my telephone bill, therefore I see no reason why I should be subjected to their calls. When they start paying individuals telephone bills then maybe I could see how they would have a right to make such calls. Thank You.
