I find it hard to believe that the American public will once again be besieged by unwanted telephone calls. The respite offered by the Do Not Call List was wonderful. If it ain't broke, why are you fixing it? My husband and I perceive the proposed changes as kowtowing to corporate interests instead of to the interests of the individual voter. Were political donations involved in revisiting this issue? We cannot figure out any other motive. Gail and Milton Jacobson
