I am opposed to the idea that I need to "Opt Out" to receiving further calls from telemarketers. It is my privacy that they are infringing upon. I have signed up for the DO NOT CALL list and my calls have dropped by 99% and I am enjoying the peace. Voice Mail Broadcasting should be required to get my permission before sending any messages to my telephone. I agree, make the telemarketers "Opt In". I wonder why the telemarketers oppose the Opt In plan. Could it be that 64 million people have enrolled in the Do Not Call Registry. What part of Do Not Bother Us do they not understand!!!! I feel sorry for the people who have to go to work at 3 am in the morning and try and sleep during part of the day and early evening hours when the unwanted calls are pouring in. Telemarketers are not taking their lifestyle into consideration. No one thinks about that. Not everyone works from 9-5. Leave us in peace!!! If I need something, I will look in the phone book. Thank you for allowing us to comment.
