1)Please DO NOT ALLOW an amendment that would result in Telemarketers sending / leaving pre-recorded messages to customers with whom they have previously done business. The current law is working. Do not open up this loophole. I want to continue to initiate contact with those companies with whom I would like to do business. 2)Please also deny the petition to change the call abandonment safe harbor provision window from calls measured daily to calls measured over a period of 30 days. Prior to the FTC placing these rules in effect reigning in the Telemarketers, we were being constantly disturbed by calls soliciting business for a variety of goods and services. It was an unwelcome intrusion on our privacy. Since the "Do Not Call" list has gone into effect, these calls have all but virtually stopped. PLEASE DO NOTHING THAT WILL RESULT IN ANY TELEMARKETERS CALLING OUR HOME. Thank you.
