I am totally against this proposal, as I am against allowing businesses conducting surveys and political organizations to be exempt from the "Do Not Call" list. I will let a business KNOW when I want them to call me. I should not have to put my name on any list to stop these calls. They should explicitly ask my permission to call. I am seriously considering removing my land line telephone for this very reason.
