Dear Sir: What part of NO CALL is not understood by our government? If you bother to check... really check with citizens, I'm sure you will find the vast majority want, NO CALLS to include charity, sales, opinion polls and anything political. Considering the last two items... Do poll takers really expect people to give an honest opinion? If so, Why would they believe so? Most people I know will deliberately not answer questions truthfully just to fool the polls since that is the only way they have of, "Getting even" for being needlessly bothered. The election polls also were questioned. Perhaps people didn't tell the truth when polled??? In general, most people believe that business is "greasing" the hand of regulatory agencies and this corruption must stop. To say that the FTC is only trying to bring itself in line with the FCC rules is to assume that the FCC is correct; a very poor assumption since they could well be wrong. I would expect more from you in regards to the public.
