The main reason that I signed up for the Do Not Call registry was to avoid exactly what you are trying to un-do. I would have to say that at least 90% of the un-wanted calls that I "used" to get, were automated calls and if you make it legal again, you might as well do away with the Do Not Call thing all together !!! The worst thing for you to have to go through is to answer a ringing phone and hear nothing but silence because the automated machine calls several different numbers at the same time and only talks to the first one that answers. I just don't won't to have to go through that HELL again ! It has been SO peaceful around here the last year without the annoying phone calls. Please, Please don't take that away from us.
