Please do NOT allow telemarketing companies to send pre-recorded sales messages to my home phone! Ever since the telemarketing ban went into affect my house has been blissfully quiet. On the occasions when the phone DOES ring, I am confident that the person on the other end of the line is someone to whom I actually wish to speak. Unsolicited telemarketing calls - whether pre-recorded or "live" - are an unwanted intrusion to my privacy and are a welcome part of the past.
