Please do not approve this proposal to allow recorded messages. Recorded messages are every bit as intrusive as personal messages because the ringing telephone needs to be answered as it may be emergency calls including public warnings and of course family and friends calls. Not answering the telephone is not an acceptable remedy as it leads to bad consequences. The public is quite capable of knowing what products it needs and wants and how to find them without intrusive marketing into the privacy of our homes. All the baloney about a small quantity of calls per day is completely irrelevant to protecting the sanctity and quiet of our homes. DO NOT CALL please.
