I am not in favor of amending the DO NOT CALL law to allow prerecorded messages. Prerecorded messages will be as much a nuisance as live calls were before. I have established business relationships with more businesses than I am probably even aware of, none of whom should be intruding on the privacy of my home or using my phone service for uninvited solicitations. My family has enjoyed the peace of dinner without unwelcome phonecalls for many months. We were absolutely ecstatic over the government's action to significantly improve the quality of our living. Please don't compromise that peace by allowing prerecorded messages that I have not requested, do not desire, and that are unwelcome. My telephone exists for MY convenience, not the telemarketers. Phone calls from these organizations in any format are not to my advantage and are not desired in any format You would be doing a great disservice to the public by allowing any loopholes in this ver effective and beneficial law. I only wish you could do something about SPAM on my e-mail... We greatly appreciate your efforts to protect our family life and privacy. r/Jim, Janet, John and Paul Marcoux
