|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:Commissioners, What part of 'NO-CALL' does the commission not understand. The 'NO CALL' provisions are for All messages. Personally I can't fathom why this is even considered unless the telemarketing lobby is really this strong. I choose my carrier and I would like to continue to choose who calls me. I thought this was the intent? There is another option for the FCC to consider. Why don't you make it an option for the people who have already selected the 'NO CALL' option to agree - individually to the proposal above. This makes it the end users choice to receive calls from the telemarketing groups, not making it my burden to OPT out again and REALLY mean 'NO CALL'! This is a very bad move to appease the telemarketing community. NO really does mean NO!
