I would like to go on the record as standing in strong opposition to this rule change. As a citizen, I have no desire to hear pre-recorded messages from any company, regardless of whether or not I have a pre-existing relationship with the company in question. This weakening of the do not call list is unwarranted, and quite frankly unconscionable, in that is neither serves the public good nor the good of the individual citizen, the only beneficiary is the telecommunication company which will provide the service to companies.
