Comments:

Telemarketers already have the right to call persons with whom they have an existing relationship. This causes enough of an invasion of privacy. In fact, the rules should be changed to require a telemarketer to obtain an "op-in" to make even live calls to an existing customer. The huge number of telephone subscribers who have signed up to the no-call list is evidence that a vast majority do not want their time at home disturbed by telemarketing calls. The rule change as proposed should not, repeat not, be adopted.
