When will the madness stop! I signed up for the do not call list a long time ago in hopes that I would not have to deal with marketing calls to my home. Now I read that this might mean that prerecorded marketing calls may be allowed. It sounds to me like there is money involved and the FTC is the real winner. I have an idea, how about the marketers pay me $1.00 a minute to try and sell me something. At least this way I don't waist my time. Please do not allow any provisions that would make it ok for marketers to use the do not call list against those who signed up with the hopes of never having telemarketers call ever again. As a side note, I will be sending my cell phone bills to the FTC if I get charged for telemarketing calls. I no longer have a land line at home and if I get charged I will be sure to contact my representatives and let them know of this practice. A concerned consumer
