I read that you are considering modifying the Do Not Call list to allow prerecorded messages. PLEASE DO NOT MODIFY THE DO NOT CALL LIST. Not receiving telemarketing calls is so nice and if you allow companies to deliver prerecorded messages, they will once again bombard us with calls. No matter what type of controls you put on it, it will be abused, as the telemarketing industry had some of the sleaziest business practices I have ever seen. I cannot believe that, given the success of the list, you would consider modifying it to allow such intrusions, and I ask you to please not modify the Do Not Call list. Thank you, Henry Webb
