The concept of the Do Not Call list is effective because it is simple. This rule would abandon simplicity for the usual per-industry lobby exceptions that make most such consumer protections useless, if not actively counter-productive. My only phone is a cellphone, which I take with me to distant timezones. If marketers are allowed to call me on that phone it will create severe disruptions in my life. I have placed my cell phone number on the Do Not Call list because I do not want these calls - none of them. Please preserve the Do Not Call list as it is, without any changes. Thank you. Derek Fox
