I strongly object to this proposal. Any erosion of the privacy rights afforded by the Do Not Call list should be avoided. The main problem with the existing system is that it covers too few, not too many cases. Therefore it should be strengthened not weakened by giving in to the lobbying of the telemarketing industry.
