This is an out and out betrayal of everything the do-not-call list stands for. The goal of the list was to prevent people from being unfairly and regaularly harassed in their homes. Any approval for the delivery of pre-recorded messages would be political suicide. The pre-recorded messages are more invasive and annoying then operators, since there is no easy way to get one's self removed from the call-list. It is shameful and unethical the the FTC would consider reversing the intent of the do-not-call list. I would like to see a 100% ban on all pre-recorded messages. They made up 83% of the calls I received that violate the FTC do-not-call policy. Please consider complete elimination of all pre-recorded messages in any circumstance. This is the proper direction for consumers, businesses and government. Thanks. Sincerely, John Sheehy
