I am completely amazed that the FTC would even consider this ammendment. The whole spirit of the do not call list is to stop annoying interruptions. Pre-recorded messages are just as annoying as live telemarketer calls. Do not call means DO NOT CALL. I also object to the FTC considering changes to the law based on the suggested ammendment by the Direct Marketing Association. The law as it stands represents a wonderful example of a goverment department doing something clearly approved by the people. Don't change it.
