I am STRONGLY opposed to any rules which allow telemarketing calls without the express permission of the callee, including this new proposed rule. It is difficult for me to express in words the depth of my dislike for any kind of spam, whether it is telphone, fax or email based. I despise any marketing effort that is not permission-based. I despise those who support such marketing efforts and those who permit marketeers to conduct non-permission-based marketing efforts.
