The FTC proposes that a loophole be created so that businesses with a "pre-existing" relationship with a customer can then leave telemarketing pre-recorded messages on their phone? This is a horrible idea, the fact that the Do Not Call Registry works extremely well is based on the fact that we don't receive annoying phone calls from businesses we have no interest in. And even if we did business with one company, would that mean we are interested in hearing from them again, in the form of a voicemail about some product or service that we don't want? The answer is NO. It's a horrible idea and I oppose it 100%. I implore the FTC to not allow this loophole to become active. sincerely, Steven Shim
