I am very happy with the Do Not Call list as it stands. My phone has never been so quiet and my time at home is no longer disturbed by incessant and unsolicited phone marketing. I do not want to get advertisements or promotions sent to any phone I use. I fear that these automated messages, even if only allowed by groups that I have an "existing business relationship" with, will drastically reduce the cost of sending such messages. This will have the effect of encouraging these companies to spam me.... which means my phone will start ringing again, and this time, I can't easily tell the company that I do not want to be bothered. I do not agree with this proposal. Please do not implement it. Thanks, Chris
