I am strongly against such an amendment as proposed. The do not call list (Telemarketing Sales Rule) has proven to be a much needed reprive from the flood of telemarketing calls which invade our home. Changing it in any way to allow such automated calls (or any other calls for that matter) is strongly discouraged and would undermine the effectiveness of the current law.
