Comments:
The phone is an interrupt device and should not be utilized for marketing. I do not want to receive any type of marketing announcement via the phone since it is incredibly annoying and intrusive. Automated messages are, in fact, the most annoying and intolerable type of phone message. And, for the record, I don't want to receive announcements via SMS either. An existing business relationship should NOT be a reason to allow corporations to annoy customers.
