This proposal is absurd. Why would I want to listed to a pre-recorded message any more than I want to talk to a real person? Any company that supposedly has an "established business relationship" with me can wait until I come to them for their product. If I am not shopping I am not buying and the phone calls recorded or live are just bothering. I do have another proposal for you though. How about instead of the FTC taking kickbacks and lobby money, you make the advertisers pay for my time. Every time they want to call me to pitch a product to me, they owe me a dollar. Everyone in America will get a check every month for advertising to the home via the telephone. The more you listen, the more you make. I understand that this is harder than just taking the kickbacks and free vacations to Hawaii, but hey...I can still hope! Again, I don't want to have anyone calling me for ANY sales reason recorded or LIVE! Don't screw up a decently good thing you have going.
