I am VIGOROUSLY opposed to this proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rule to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship. Please DO NOT let this amendment pass, it defeats the entire purpose of the do not call list and will likely force me to revert to the days of turning off the ringer to my phone (or I might just disconnect it to save the hassle).
