The proposed changes are a terrible idea. The consumers have been well served by the do not call list and it is an example of a great use of FTC authority to bring under control a situation that had become a plague to consumers. I strongly object the proposed changes as they would significantly loosen the ability of a private consumer to control the use of the telephone resources and services that they contract for in their homes. I do not see any ways that this rule change would benefit the consumer. Thank you for your consideration.
