This is a horrible suggestion, and should be voted down. I put my phone numbers on the Do Not Call List because I believed it would be completely off-limits to telemarketers. If anything, the recorded messages are worse than live telemarketer calls, because you can always tell a live telemarketer to take you off the list and not bug you any further. You can't tell a recording to back off. I will be extremely upset if this loophole is opened. So upset that I will let Congressman Berman and Senators Feinstein and Boxer know that I disapprove of the law being circumvented in this way.
