I put my phone number on the do not call list for one reason only. I do not want to be called by telemarketers. I do not care if it is a live person, a computer, or a pre recorded message. If I am interested in a product or a service, I will search the internet or contact the company myself. Pre recorded messages go against the the very reason the list was started in the first place. This is a very bad idea and needs to be stopped now.
