|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:You guys are asking for big trouble from the people on the existing 'Do Not Call' list. 'Do Not Call' means 'DO NOT CALL', not 'Call me with recorded information at some prescribe rate'. What part of 'Do Not' do you 'not' understand ? After the flood of prerecorded political beggings I received during the recent election, I strongly believe that this would make some 50+ million members of this list VERY, VERY angry. Please quit pandering to the direct marketing people and start protecting the millions of taxpayers that want protection from these overly agressive companies. After all, isn't that the reason the FTC exists ?
