I understand that you are considering making pre-recorded phone solicitation legal as an assault on those who have entered the 'do not call' list. If a manned trlemarketing call is obnoxious and repugnant, how can automating this process make it less so? You may feel that since I don't have to hang up on a live telemarketer, that the inconvenience is less, which is simply not the case. This loophole will allow telemarketers even more intrusive behavior, without even the inconvenience of being personally hung up on. I hope you will reconsider this ill-informed change to the law, which will only benefit those people who feel that intruding on my personal time is a viable way of making a living.
