Are you people stupid or is someone getting paid off by the telemarketers? The only thing worse than telemarketing by a person is telemarketing by a tape recording. It took several months after I signed up for the "No call" list for the calls to stop. The last year has been very peaceful in my home, because when the phone rings, it's usually family or friends on the line who actually want to talk to me. I don't want to start receiving recorded messages from the thousands of people who will claim I have some sort of business relationship with them. I dont' want them to call me at all, either in person or on tape. I will be forced to listen to the whole pitch to tell them to not call me any more, and even that might not stop the calls. Leave things as they are, ie, ban ALL calls of ANY kind by ANY one for ANY reason.
