During the recent federal election we were deluged with recorded political messages, despite being on the "do not call" list. We felt this was an imposition, as the calls came at all times of the day, from political parties and candidates we do not endorse, and without a live person to object to. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW ANY MORE INVASIONS OF OUR HOME by unwanted phone calls. We pay for the service, and should have the right to decide who may use our phone number. The FCC is already reaching too far into regulating the airwaves of broadcasts I choose to listen to, and not far enough into the abuse of private citizens' telephone communicaton. Caller ID is useless - most of these numbers are not identified, and the ringing still disrupts someone and requires going to the phone and taking some action. How do the political calls get permission, anyway? They are certainly "selling" something... Thank you
