As a consumer, I do not want unsolicited calls at home. They have been a tremendous disruption to the life of my family and myself in past years. Please let us not go back to that. Prerecorded message are the worst unsolicited calls out there because they mislead you into thinking you are talking with a person. It is very frustrating to realize you have been talking to a machine and are unable to ask not be called again. It offends me to have to take out time out of my day to listen to another company's advertising in the private space of my home. And it does not matter that the company may have had a business relationship with me in the past. That does not make the disruption any less disruptive. If this amendment passes, I will stop using the federal do not call list and revert back to alternative means to stop unsolicited phone calls (e.g., cancelling phone service or using equipment to handle phone calls before I pick it up). Thank you for allowing me to send my comments. Stefan
