I signed up for the Do-not-call list when it first became available because I did not want telephone solicitations. The Do-not-call list was a way for me to inform potential advertisers that their calls are not welcome, and that they are on notice about my preferences. Given that I've given notice to the advertisers that their calls are not welcome, your proposed amendment allows them to ignore my specific request that they do not call. So if you pass this amendment, I hope you, at the same time, implement a really-do-not-call list. I do not want them to call. I want a simple way for all advertisers to know that fact. Dave Regan
