|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:I think the Do Not Call list should be a DO NOT CALL list... there should be almost NO exception to this rule. I do not want pre-recorded messages from companies that have established relationships with me. That relationship is stretched to absurdity anyway, as companies are finding new ways to lie or buy ways into having established relationships with me. I would prefer that NOBODY call me since I don't want their messages on my machine. I don't want ANY advertising or telemarketing calls or messages EVER to reach me over the phone. And when there is finally a no-spam email list I will want the same rules to apply. Unless I explicitly REQUEST it in WRITING I do NOT want any companies trying to sell me their products on my dime.
