Please consider that important family messages may be blocked by commercial, political, and other messages occupying the space on a phone answerer. Consider the deluge of automated messages that will ensue if this course is taken. When war-dialing permits unattended delivery of automated messages the so called 3% rule will become next the battleground for another loophole search. Draw the line. Do not dilute the current system. Advertisers already have rather free access to all our public life and entertainment media. Do we really need to extend their set of venues to include our telephones? I say NO.
