I think is absurd "to create an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls that deliver a prerecorded message to consumers with whom the seller on whose behalf the calls are made has an established business relationship". The DO NOT CALL list should be just that, DO NOT call my damn house. DO NOT CALL my cellphone. DO NOT CALL me if you are not my friend, relative, direct business associate (with permission to call, of course - e,g. creditors and whatnot). TO have the FTC propose such a measure is ludicrous and, in fact, smacks a bit of coercion by commercial interests. hmmm.... So, DO NOT ALLOW this measure to pass. DO NOT ALLOW pre-recorded telemarketing. I DO NOT WANT any more phone calls.
