I signed up for this do-not-call list for one reason - I don't want telemarketers calling me. Period. An amendment to the DNC law would completely null the reason I signed up and would force me to rely on vigilante phone-blocking. It would be wise not to change the DNC law for one simple reason - you'll get most, if not all, of the American public furious at you for it.
