I provided my number to the Do Not Call list for exactly that purpose, so I would not receive calls from telemarketers. I no more want to receive pre-recorded messages than I do "live" calls. Pre-recorded messages have a tendency to not recognize hang ups. Instead they continue to blather on and tie up my phone line for which I pay not the telemarketers. Please do not dilute the Do Not Call list by allowing this change to be made.
